Welcome to bache pallets

Bache Pallets is a stillage design and manufacturing company specialising in materials handling equipment for the automotive and engineering industries for over fifty years.

Located in the heart of the UK, the West Midlands, we are an established manufacturer of both bespoke and standard industrial pallets and containers, for a variety of industries, including agriculture, automotive, construction, the foundry and forging trade, retail outlets, as well as the Ministry of Defence.

Our experience, together with continued investment, ensures competitiveness and a superior quality and function for each and every product we produce. Achieving steady growth in both the UK and export opportunities overseas, we now trade our products to Belgium, Brazil, Germany, Spain and the USA, amongst others.

A long and proud history

A family business originally founded in Halesowen by General Bache at the turn of the century, G.Bache & Son was re-established as a stillage manufacturer by General’s grandson Robert, our current Managing Director, in Wolverhampton in 1974. Moving to Hartlebury in 1982 with Sales Director George Bentley the company quickly became one of the UK’s leading pallet manufacturers.

In September 2001, Bache Pallets acquired E. A. Lewis Engineering Limited in Lye, Stourbridge and the company subsequently transferred to the current premises on Bromley Street, allowing for increased capacity and output.

In 2008, Genwork Ltd, our sister company, joined forces with Bache Pallets at the Bromley Street site, assisting both companies capabilities and product range, providing the Bache Group with the ability to further expand and explore additional markets within the industry.
